Bella Mama Restaurant in Staten Island

Shrimp parm was the best and my friend loved the cavatelli marinara.sauce was great.

Family style party. Appetizers and salad were amazing. Entrees were very good.

The food was ok...i didn't like that they took the skin off my salmon...that the best part i was mad...😒

I dont know..too salty. Too damn salty..it ruins the dish. I returned the salad. Yes the salad was covered in salt. And the waitress comes back and says the cook said there was no salt on the salad..then I ordered a salad with oil n vinegar on the side. No Salt. Better. Head spinning. 🤬🤬🤬

We have Christmas Eve dinner here every year. My entire family comes. The food is great but pricing is a little high, but not by much. Plenty of seating and a nice setting. Worth it if you want a nice place to have a great dinner!

Always good food and service, decent prices

Waited for an hour and 45 min for our food to come out . Server stated she forgot to put our order in. I was with my wife and 2 children. The owner was very rude ...instead of apologizing she says “ I did you a favor squeezing you in” ok? So does that make it ok to wait for you food that long especially with 2 children that are hungry. The staff is amazing there ...it’s just the owner who hangs by the bar is very rude. I will never go there again and my friends and family will never go there again

The place is very good to us. We went there after my Mom in law wake. We had about 30 people there in the party room. The food and the service was great. I would go back here again.

I'm originally from the NYC metro area but moved away years ago.While visiting Staten Island, my friend and I came here for some real Italian food, which is something we can't get in the south.I was never more tempted to move back home than I was after that meal.Their food, service, atmosphere, and room temperature were all exceptional. I have a service dog who was treated with all the love and respect for his position that we've ever received in a higher end restaurant.I don't know when I'll be back to Staten Island, but I do know where I'm going to go for dinner when I get there!

Jackie is the best server/ bartender. All the staff is super friendly! Food is amazing. I had my babies christening party here and Jackie was our server she was amazing and made the experience one to remember! She handled our 20 guest without a glitch!!

I usually order clams here all the time. Well I Decided to order Pizza. OMG, it was amazing, The sauce had basil in it for sure.. I didnt see it.. the bread was thin , will order Pizza again... Price is not the subject here, quality and taste... yummy.... AMAZING!!!!!!

Do not order their stuffed shrimp. It is a disgrace to shellfish. Well-meaning and friendly waitstaff, but ineffective. Not my first time here, but possibly the last. Bella Mama Rose, do better.

This is a nice looking place to come or give an event but don’t be FOOLED!!!! The bar lady was NOT very nice & she seemed somewhat RACIST. The food was good but her attitude was distasteful. At the end of the event she went up on the price they quoted in the beginning to my nephew. That alone is not good business. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone going forward!!!!!!

We were a party of 6. The service was very good. The food came out hot and flavorful. However we all felt$ 350. Was a bit to high. A family style of baked ziti was $40. Yes we did take home some food but to charge $40 for a bowl of pasta was a little to much. Would go back but would order each meal separately.

So I walked over the Bayonne Bridge solo and scouted out an adorable Italian restaurant in Staten Island. I was exhausted and out of breath and had to pee! They welcomed me with open arms, pulled out a table in their parking lot to accommodate a table for one. I just had a fantastic shrimp, calamari salad and 2 glasses of savingnon blanc. I am in heaven ! The service is phenomenal and the owner walks around making sure everyone is happy! I am a happy gal and am now looking forward to walking back ( buzzed) . Maybe we can all do this one day. It was amazing

Thank you Bella Mama Rose for a wonderful Easter Celebration. Our family truly enjoyed the great food. The children thought the chicken fingers were awesome. The tablescape was beautiful. Jenn and all the staff were very attentive, caring and professional.

Very disappointed with this place . My son rented two room for his wedding dinner because a friend of mine recommended it. The food was ok but the woman working the bar was very unprofessional and discourteous the entire night. She seem to be very prejudice/racist towards the African-American members of my family. I didn’t want to hold this against the establishment but I found out her name is Michele and according to her she is the owner. At the end of the night she added additional fee which were not discussed. Basically they up charges us because they thought we weren't paying attention. I would never eat here again and I do not recommend anyone to spend a dime here.

Such a shame what has happened to this place. I use to come here all the time with friends and it was always a good place for some good food & good staff. However I was there with my children the other day not only was the staff completely horrible But a full blown fight broke out while I was there. Nothing was even said or done after the incident no apologies nothing . This place has become a home for the scum. Skip this place and drive thru Wendy’s food is the same quality and at least your kids will be safe from fist flying .

Bella Mama’s makes you feel like family from the minute you walk in. Their new outdoor deck is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and you never have to look for a server. They are there at every turn like an Italian grandmother. I had a rib eye steak that was cooked to perfection and my girlfriend ordered what she wanted that wasn’t even on the menu and they accommodated her and it was delicious. My 6 year old daughter has celiac disease and she will only eat their gluten free pizza which is better than some places wheat based pizza. In her words it her “favawat restawant” If your looking for a family style restaurant this is the spot...

Great food and ambiance

Food is good. Individual portions are small for the price. They do have a nice weekly specials list with 2 for 1 menu options on some days that make it more affordable.

Nice, clean, classic family spot. Very clean. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Stuffed artichokes and burrata were great. Our party said the baked clams and fried shrimp were also delicious (I'm a vegetarian). Pasta portions were HUGE, I would suggest splitting an individual pasta with 2 or possibly 3 people if you're ordering multiple apps. Kind of overpriced for the setting.

They have the best Italian food I've ever had. My favorite is stuffed meatball and eggplant parmesan. Waitresses are friendly n attentive. If you haven't been then you must!
